‘Yoga, Anatomy & Myofascial Movement’ with Gary Carter ‘ON-LINE’

April 16 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Personal practise development sessions on selected Friday afternoons 1.30pm to 4pm ‘on-line’ presented by Gary in conjunction with Julie at Yoga for Harmony

Influenced deeply by the work of Vanda Scaravelli, Gary Carter brings over 25 years of experience of Movement Anatomy, Chi Kung, Personal Training, Structural & Movement Integration to create a deeper understanding of the practice, cultivating the conditions that give rise to the combined freeing of the Spine in conjunction with the pull of Gravity and the overall ‘felt sense’ of the breath. By learning to follow the nature of our structure, our internal shapes, we end up going with the body and not against it! We ultimately find fluid movement and lightness with the potential to have free range of movement, restriction free, generating economy of body use.

These workshops are not suitable for beginners to yoga.  The sessions are aimed at developing aspects of personal practise rather than instruction based lead posture work. It is advised that you have had a practise for at least a year, or that you have worked with Gary before, or are familiar with the Scaravelli style.  If this is your first time joining us, you are very welcome, and we hope you enjoy what might be some new approaches to your practice.

How to Book: Use the booking button to process your booking.   You will be sent the ‘Zoom’ link with your automated confirmation so please make sure you keep it safe, and put the date in your diary. I don’t email attendees prior to the event unless requested. Should you not receive your confirmation with the link please check your ‘Spam’ mail.

If you are a teacher this workshop is suitable for FRYOG CPD and BWY CPD. Please let me know if you intend to add this session to your ‘points’, I will need to note your attendance in case I am asked to verify your attendance to your teaching body.
