New at Yoga for Harmony – Bite Size Anatomy – Online CPD for Yoga Teachers presented by Aimee Newton
July 11 @ 9:45 am - 1:00 pm£32.00
I am delighted to welcome Aimee to Yoga for Harmony for the first time bringing her anatomical knowledge to us in her ‘bite size anatomy’ format. Easy to absorb and full of very interesting and helpful insights into our human anatomy. On-line attendance only.
Aimee is a multi-disciplinary, clinical therapist with 15 years of experience as a Yoga Teacher and Educator and is a registered Osteopath. Her work within her busy clinic uses both philosophies to empower people to manage and prevent pain through movement.
Being an Osteopath gives her the clinical, medical and scientific perspective of the human body that most yoga teachers do not possess. Her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, mechanism of injury, and health of the human body has then applied to the practical experience of teaching Yoga, how we approach our asana practice and teaching safely.
Aimee’s practical instruction is based on the encouragement of organic movement, embodiment and individual exploration with an evidence-based foundation. Focusing on ‘FREEING THE INNER TEACHER’ for both teachers and their students.
Programme for the morning:
Log-in at 9.45am for a prompt start at 10am
The training will be split into two sessions with a zoom fatigue break in between and is a combination of theory and practical.

This is suitable CPD training for yoga teachers, but is of interest to anyone who practises yoga or has an interest in the spine and the body in general. It will count as 3 training hours for tutor CPD points.
This workshop will be recorded, so you will be able to revisit the class in your own time. If you cannot join us on the day, book and you will be able to receive the recording.
